EIGHT MEETING:

I. Challenge yourselF:

e. Avoid cheating
>>>I admit that sometimes I cheat but when I think about it I realized that If I cheat, I also cheat myself because I am not the one who understand that particular topic instead, the one I cheat. So for me, cheating will not help us and it can bring us to the wrong path.

SEVENTH MEETING: Resect for Health and Environment

Self -evaluation:

Review the results of your personal health assessment and write your realizations and plans about your health in your journal.

>>>Of course we are the one concerned in our personal health, I observed that when I ran long distances, I easily get tired. So to solve this problem, I need to discipline myself, I need to exercise everyday, I need to have a balance diet. I really need to have a self discipline for me to perform those things easily and for me to maintain a goodhealth.

SIXTH MEETING:

On your journal, process your experience with the aid of the following guide questions:

a. What challenge did you take?
>>>When my father and I had an argument, I don't know what to do.

b. Were you able to beat the challenge? How do you feel about it?
>>>Yes, I put in mind that inspite those misunderstanding he is still my father and by that I need to understand what he is saying.

c. What have you realized/learned from your experiences?
>>>We don't have the right to answer back to our parents, sometimes we need to speak to them seriously or heart to heart for us to overcome those misunderstandings.

FIFTH MEETING:

The Most Challenging Thing I have ever Accomplished

>>>I think the most challenging thing that I had ever done is when I went to a place that I'm not familiar with. And from this experience, I learned how to asked questions from different people even though I'm a shy person. I had gained much self confidence and knew how to communicate with others.

FOURTH MEETING:

1. Looking back at the list of your positive characteristics and qualities, what do you feel and realize about it?
>>>Well, if I'm going to look back at the list of my positive characteristics and qualities, I can say that I changed a lot because I'm now a college student and it is different in highschool. Now, I am more focused and serious about my studies. I am now giving much time in studying my lessons than going out with my friends. I also realized that I have grown up already and ready to face the real world, the college life.

2. The Golden Rule says, "Do unto others as you would have others do unto you."

a. Given the following situations, how would you like to be treated by your teachers and schoolmates:

- when you have given wrong answers to the questions during recitation;
>>>I like them to respect whatever my answer is and I don't wanna be embarassed especially in front of many people but I also like them to correct me If I have answered a wrong one but in a right manner and with respect.

- when you are expressing your opinion during class or group discussion;
>>>I want them to listen to whatever I am saying or suggesting. They must respect my opinions and I don't want to feel being disregarded.

- when you are giving suggestions during group work or presentation;
>>>I want them to cooperate with me. I want them to listen with what I'm explaining.

- when you commit mistake;
>>>Whenever I commit mistake, I want them to correct me immediately in a good and respectful manner so that I can learn from these mistakes.

- when you don't like doing what they ask you to do;
>>>I will ask them to do another task that I know I can do with excellence because If I don't like to do the one assigned to me, I can't do it perfectly.

- when they want to give you comments or suggestions?
>>>I'll listen to them and think about it. I will accept all suggestions and choose the best out of it.

THIRD MEETING:

A reflection about one of my significant classroom experiences during my past few days at MCL.
>>>I find my everyday experiences in MCL very significant. But the most significant day for me is the first day of classes because that's the first day I met my classmates. When I entered the room, everyone seems silent, their faces are new to me but on the following days, I get to know them better.

SECOND MEETING:

1. How was your first week of stay in MCL? How do you feel about your teachers and schoolmates? How do you find your courses? What sort of adjustment you still have to meet in terms of academics, emotions, and social involvement?
>>The first week of my stay here in MCL was great because I saw different people and new faces. The professors are all very good in terms of teaching and facing the students. Adjusting to college is not always a piece of cake-it can be both exciting and difficult. I need to be more independent. I need to budget my time. I need to have more time in studying my lessons than going to mall with friends...

2. How would you like your first year in college be? What specifically you have to do to achieve these desires?
>>I want my first year to be as beautiful as my highshool days. I want to be involved in different activities. To achieve my desires , self-discipline is the most important because if I am well disciplined, I know what is wrong from what is right. I need to sacrifice. I should not learn only but I also need to work because if I will only learn nothing will happen. Of course I need to have self-determination.

FIRST MEETING:

1. How does Values Education work to your advantage?
>>>It helps everyone to overcome their fears and weaknesses in every aspects in life.

2. After you have processed your first few experiences at MCL, in what way this will help you achieve successful adjustment in college?
>>>These experiences will really help me to achieve my dreams. I will now study harder in order to get higher grades.
